more exciting weapons
 
if possible, when zones dev team pulls its finger out, that we coul have some more interesting weapons.

by that, i dont mean weapons that are ripped off from other games such as sci fi pistols and grav hammers, i mean just thinking outside the box.

zones a futuristic server, and it has a few laser and plasma bullets, but the only real variation in weapon function is spread and number of bullets, and colour.

i mean what about a gun that spawns a black hole?

what about a gun that causes a solar flare?

i understand balancing would be too complicated for a manager who has an 8pm bed time, but i think it would make the game more interesting to new players.

the old way was good, but lets face it, going back to basics would proberly bring a few old faces back, make things more fun and exciting could bring a few new players :)

just a thought.

I wana see mini mech used again when izone comes out. Only saw it once, when Stormy pulled it out in dropship.

yeah, mechs could be just like normal weapons, maybe with a slight damage reduction and a moderatly powerful weapon.

But I don't think mini mech should do dmg, maybe just make it a transportation purpose. Also shouldn't be able to be hotkeyed, since whoever has one could just use it as means to always run from fights.

well if every other weapon is hotkeyed you could just have it highlighted in in the Q menu so when your in danger just Q S really fast and run.

if it was to be just for transporting, it should have a 5-7 second loading time, and be susceptable to shocks.

also theres nothing to say 1 mini mech cant be used for transport while others are used for combat.

wouldnt make sence to have technology to create a mech but not even be able to attack a gun to it.

Well, how much dmg would you say is appropriate for it?

it depends on the spread, amount of bullets, or w/e it does.

maybe a mech could have a chast cannon, that charges for 2-3 seconds the nfires a qide beam that can hit for 40 damage, easy to avoid 1v1, but could be really beneficial during team games.

i dunno really, just make it interesting.

New (OP-inclined) guns will not revive Zone or making it any fun for the majority of the server that won't get to use it and will only further damage the server.

There's just no way you can make a gun that shoots a solar flare or creates a black hole balanced without completely ruining the appeal of the weapon.

Zone needs to disappear off the list for a while, return to it's roots and improve on it's shortcomings before it's ever going to be a respectable gold server anymore.

It's a shame because you're dumb.

Zone does need to disappear, Zone does need better mangement, Zone needs less ideas that will add to the huge imbalance or just make the gun stupid.

The "old way" isn't to bring old players back, it's to remove all the things that ruined Zone. Anything Post Gelat system has been a huge failure, the last update that was actually decent and didn't flop was Guild Wars.

They can be balanced. a gun that looks more interesting that a straight up laser or bullet or plasma dosent have to have rediculouse damage.
