Graal Editor Help?
I tried to open the Graal Editor today and an error came up. The error says that pics1.png cannot be found. The Editor won't open, and I looked for it in my files, and it's there. I tried re-installing it with no luck. Any help would be great.
Thanks Zie |
pics1.png has to be in the same directory as GraalEditor.exe. Is it?
|
I've never moved it. I'm not sure what you mean by directory... sorry...

1. Delete FILENAMECACHE 2. Start Graal 3. Try starting the level editor |
Ok I've done that and it still doesn't work... Also moved pics1 to the same folder as the .exe program and had no success

Try this...
Attached a zip with GraalEditor, bass.dll, pics1.png, and commands.rtf Should be able to unzip it to any folder and run it. |
That did the trick. Wonder why it did that? Anyway thanks fowlplay!

If you have this problem 9/10 you have got the new v.6.0 Right? Just re-install it

@kingcj: I still believe the issue is with your FILENAMECACHE file in your Graal folder. If you delete it and extract my editor zip to that folder you should be able to run the editor just fine. |
Thanks but I did re-install... See my first post?
|
Sorry for the double post but I've just now tried to do something with the editor and everything on the Right side of the editor (pre-set tiles, baddies/NPCs, etc) isn't showing up... It's just a gray blank slate, but I can still click and drag whatever I manage to grab..

I certainly hope these new dev tools are standalone!
