We have the iPhone players...Let's get them here.

So, we need to figure out ways to get new players to Graal (and iPhone is not what I mean by 'Graal'.) There are lots of players on iPhone who could and would play Graal PC if it was introduced positively to them. I'm thinking we should have a way to make it so if you first log into Graal, you can click something that says "coming from iPhone." This could be a community full of iPhone players playing on PC, and they can learn things about Graal PC, such as basic tutorial things, and information about the Hosted/Classic/Gold servers. And no offense to the Graal PC players, but some of you oldies literally scare the iPhone players away. ;) If we got the iPhone population to be introduced to Graal PC and give them a positive image, it would be very good.

But how could we get players from other places online? It's not exactly easy to find Graal. There's no advertisements or anything anywhere. We should figure out a way to get Graal known to the internet world, and get people to check it out. (I know this has been said before..Observer Mode must go!)

Graal is evidently losing interest; We need to bring more people in, and get old people back, especially since Stefan doesn't seem to keen to do anything about it.

Payment method needs a serious revamping before that can be done. Right now Graal is not worth even lower subscription prices. Stefan is apparently planning to convert all the PC servers over to the cash-shop method iPhone Classic uses.

This would Be really worth it IMO, but shouldn't be abused to give some players a certain advantage ingame.
I will myself try to setup such cash-shop for Ruins, mainly for clothes and a few items/weapons looks.
I also thought of making "expansion packs" for Ruins people could buy, only for additional storyline purposes, just to offer a little bit more playable content, but only on existing worlds and such (which means no additional restricted island or anything).

I've always found the idea of "buying a subscription" much more appealing than "getting on for free, and paying for individual things." Especially on Graal; If Stefan converted this to the thing Dusty said, then what would be available to buy for it? Would it be on every server? Would classic servers be forced to disfunction certain things, and make them for sale? That would cause problems.. :(

Zodiac, GK and Zone already use the cash-shop model. It's much better than letting players try Graal out using the god-awful observer mode, and ghost mode before that. It'll also allow more casual players to enjoy the game while the more persistent/dedicated players can put their money towards keeping it free for the others.

Stefan should buy facebook ads.

That's actually not a bad idea at all. From the look of things Stefan has made his way slowly but surely onto Facebook, along with countless of custom made accounts for Graal aliases (I still lol at the very idea of it).

Cash-shops on grinding games are terrible, and anyone who disagrees is a terrible person by extension

This happens to be a very good idea, but it's like you said: there's no way to introduce much more players to Graal. Also, most iPhone players probably think Graal is crazy complicated. I certainly thought that.

You know what's cooler? Ten-billion dollars, a gigantic fanbase, people paying you to advertise them and begging you for a plug. People signing movie deals. That's way cooler.

Paying anything to play this game is ridiculous.

I don't mind paying a one time fee like normal games but paying monthly etc for Graal? What are they thinking?

Paying certainly is retarded, especially at the price they charge. They should either offer the subscription free or at a one time charge and only charge for extras like cards and things.
