Zoo's Casino Idea
Please read through and thank you for your time.
Keep in mind I only thought of this from the top of my head so changings should be done, to make it better.
The casino has existed for a very long time yet it is rarely used. Why? People don't see the idea of going to a casino where all you can do is idle at the slots and the 5 dollar blackjack tables.
I have an idea on how to get the casino back in business and attract more people. Firstly I want to talk about the blackjack tables, a good way to deal with them is to make a bigger, a real blackjack table with a real deck of cards.
The person in charge of the card deck would be an employee of the casino, and the table can fit more than just one person, I don't remember how many a real table can fit. I'm guessing 5-7?
This can not be abused if you think it through wisely, for ex. The cards will come up randomly, so the dealer has no way to see what card is coming up, basically hes just a dealer and earns nothing. If no employees are there to deal, the people themselves could be dealers. Only one dealer is allowed too, the one who is sitting in the right chair.
The bids should not be limited to 5 dollar a bid, thats just redicilous. You should be able to purchase marks with your own money, and max bid could be all from x - x dollars, depending on the table. the table could have low bids and high bids.
So if its a low bidding table you only have to bid x (small amount) to be in and actually participate. These numbers could be changed, but it's dumb to keep the bidding limit to 5 and all you can win is twice your money "10". If the dealer is a bad dealer, lets say hes slow and is idling. The people sitting at the table could vote him out, meaning vote him out from being the dealer so someone else could deal.
I think you get my point with the blackjack table, now for the slots. Slots should still exist but they need to be a little updated they look so old fashioned comparing to todays slots. It would also attract more people if there existed other things to do in there that an actual casino has.
The counting would be done by script, and the cards would come up by script. So the dealer doesn't have to count how many points a person has, that would just be really bad since I don't think theres a lot of people qualified to be a real dealer. Just sitting at a casino seems a bit boring which is why I think there should exist music, similar to musical chairs. The casino has DJs.
If a person don't want to listen to the songs he/she may turn it off, if a person has a request he/she may submit the request for the DJ to use. Remember that this is a business that does not get paid.
Why do I think people would work at a business that does not get paid? because it's a fun thing to do, I (along others) think this would be fun which is why we would work in such a business. If we want to get paid we could just sit down at a table and try to win.
