What is the point of this npc in GK main Trade?

Alright so why do we have a NPC with a players name on it (*Proof) in the main trade house on GK? it's vary annoying. Does anyone else agree with me?

This should go in the bugs section. It's just an EM hosted escort quest NPC. They like to select random players to be the escort and you have to fetch them and bring them back to bomb trade or MMT. Looks like an EM just forgot to reset it after the event. It should reset itself for practicality.
