Yes I know it's probably copyrighted.
But I thought i'd have a crack at it anyway.
Here's the result.

Sorry if the video is a little choppy. And sorry about that street light problem...
The whole thing still has a few bugs in it, so i'll be polishing it up and fixing that shortly.
I plan to add shields and aliens attacking you tomorrow.

Actually I'm pretty sure Space Invaders is public domain(or fair use... something like that) now, or at least... I see the alien invader plastered all over TV shows and such.

I'm starting to agree with Gunderak that all players on Era should be street lights instead of actual players.

You don't need to worry about copyright laws as long as you make some things very different.

Just don't name it 'Space Invaders' and make sure the sprites aren't exactly the same and you're pretty much good.

Can't tell if sarcasm or real. Plus a neg rep for you suck still inclines me to think sarcasm.

And I'm almost certain I created it in the NPC Scripting area.

Worth a watch, if you're concerned about copyright infringement.

That video was quite entertaining. And furthermore, as long as no profit is derived directly from this, no one can get in trouble. Unlike "Zelda Online"...

I'll just leave this here, may be for videos, but I would say the basic outlines of rules for copyright apply well here.
If you are really worried about putting yourself on thin ice, you might want to do some research.

Yeah? What's your point, for I already know people infringe all the time.
The biggest matter is that he doesn't directly take from whatever he is creating from.
Since it is Space Invaders, you could very easily change it aesthetically to accommodate to the problem. (Change the Invaders to some thugs, change the lasers to something goofy like a spray of bullets or a rocket from a launcher, make the shield into some kind of goofy shaped barricade like sandbags)
