Since I don't want to be banned, I'll put it this way. Stefan tried to get me the Wii, Unixmad didn't like it, Unixmad didn't buy poor old C: the Wii because it costs money.

Although I'll still probably get banned for that. :(

HOW ABOUT THEM... REDSKINS!

Didn't they have a sponsor for the Wii? Ticketsurf?

DarkRenji 11-12-2008 06:08 AM

False advertising?!

kia345 11-12-2008 06:11 AM

Crazed seems fine without the Wii, he seemed to brush it off while we talking about it, but if it were me, there would be hell to pay. If I was told there would be Wii, I'd expect some Wii

...damnit.

I thought the Wii was coming from a different company, not CJ? I might be thinking of something else though.

Edit:

dunno..?

Beside trading cards you can also win tombola cards which let you participate in a tombola at the end of the summer (September) to win another Wii game console! The prizes are sponsored by Ticketsurf, a new payment method available for Graal players in Canada, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Brazil and more.

But being that CJ were the ones accepting the sponsorship, and advertising it to promote card sales, they should do everything they can to make sure it carries through... even if that includes them taking responsibility and providing the prize themselves.

Completely agreeing. Any other company would do this. If they said something, they'll have do it.

But CJ has let us down so many times it's not worth the time and effort to complain.

maybe ticketsurf's mail got jacked on the way but they still reported it delivered, I'm guessing if it was sponsored through them it was coming from them.

kia345 11-13-2008 12:40 AM

Who cares who sponsored it and who's legal responsibility it is? A prize was promised and it wasn't received, at the very least, it tarnishes CJ's credibility.

Problem is, the people who sponsor it is... well, the people who provide the prize. So it really matters a lot who sponsored it and who's legal responsibility it is.

Like I posted above though, it wouldn't hard for CJ to take control and patch things up, it's just a matter of how stubborn they are.
