xAzerothx 07-18-2008 04:50 AM

I don't understand how the app store works, I just got my iTouch. Unixmad did say it was free though.

Nataxo 07-18-2008 04:54 AM

about how much you think the premium version will be sold for?= idk if its monthly or just perm...(i would say monthly since unixmad loves that :P)

excaliber7388 07-18-2008 08:10 PM

I have an iPod touch. I might just have to try this out :)

xAzerothx 07-18-2008 11:49 PM

I destroyed my iTouch trying to jailbreak it.

How the hell did you manage to do that? x_x

xAzerothx 07-19-2008 12:11 AM

I don't know if you have a iTouch/iPhone and I'm too lazy to read the posts to see if you said you did. I don't know if you'd understand.

I was jailbreaking it and it was almost done and it said "file cannot be found" on the iTouch. After maybe 5 minutes nothing was happening and the program said if it takes more then 3 minutes something is wrong. Now my iTouch is stuck at the screen saying "file cannot be found." It won't turn off or sync to the computer so I can recover it either. >.>

What program? I hope you downgraded to 1.4 ...

Try holding down sleep/wake and the home button for a minute, should restart it. That, or wait for the battery to die and then plug it in and restore with the 2.0 firmware and just don't jailbreak it.

xAzerothx 07-19-2008 12:18 AM

I had 1.4 and the program I used was ziPhone.

Just restarted it, when it started back up I got

"Can't exec /bin/sh for single user: no such file in directory

Battery's gonna take awhile to die..

Mac or Windows? ZiPhone has always worked perfectly for me on the 4 or 5 iPhones I've jailbroken with it.

xAzerothx 07-19-2008 12:20 AM

Windows

You mean you'd prefer the traditional announcement a long time before such plans are released or risk falling into death without release?

We can however provide the binary to some interested Graal players (it's possible to give the binary and distibution keys).

Shotgun! I'd like to try :noob::D

I mean the fact that this poll is written as though it's to gauge whether they should port it to the iPhone or not... except they already ported it, thus making me wonder what use this poll is. They already released it, so what's the point in knowing how many people will play it now?

I don't know what the poll was for, and I don't know why people are saying this is a bad idea; don't you think the whole idea of this is getting new players, not current ones?

Elizabeth 07-19-2008 04:33 AM

whats jail breaking mean

DustyPorViva 07-19-2008 04:34 AM

Perhaps, but I still think this poll would have been better before porting it, instead of after. Or at least, placing it after it was released, and gathering opinions.

2lazy2search when someone here could tell me.

xAzerothx 07-19-2008 04:39 AM

Got this off of google.

"Jailbreaking hacks your ipod, or alters the programing, and allows you to get different features that arnt aviable out of the box! For example google maps, stocks, notes, games, themes (backrounds and new icons)! All kinds of awesome stuff!! And its REALLY easy. Extremely brainless. "

Elizabeth 07-19-2008 04:40 AM

o,ic.

But with 2.0, you have all of that.
Background is only used for logging in I think though, but you can also move the apps around by putting your finger on one and leaving it there until it all wobbles.

Even easier and less painless.

xAzerothx 07-19-2008 04:45 AM

The background as in the black screen where your apps are located.

excaliber7388 07-19-2008 04:46 AM

I'm sure having a picture back there is worth the risk of bricking.

xAzerothx 07-19-2008 04:47 AM

I guess you're right.

How come I get a little blue box when I'm trying to view videos that are not on youtube?

They can't use flash yet. Youtube videos are special because they put out an application specifically for that.
Adobe has said they plan to make flash for the iTouch though.

This guy really did his research. You can do all of those out of the box.

Not thought about making an Xbox Live Arcade (XBLA) version of Graal or Zone? That may be easy on distribution.

I was under the impression that iPhone players were playing for free. You have a good point though, with the subscription value really going into Microsoft. I wonder how the developers of the long list of XBLA games make their money

They'd have to give you the source, and I doubt they will.

Admins 07-20-2008 10:42 PM

Elk 07-20-2008 10:43 PM

Switch 07-22-2008 01:14 AM

May I ask when Graal 'iZone', as I am now calling it, will be released in the appstore?
I'd really like to test it, if there's a test available?

PaperMario 07-25-2008 09:10 AM

I dunno - can we trust Switch with SUP3R S3CR3T STUFF?
