I was thinking last night being my first day back on forums, "Wouldn't it be awesome if zone had some sort of 2 v 2 events or game? Maybe like the sled+bike combo in a level with some bots or something. Have they made team sparring yet?" I dunno, I just think that if you could fight alongside a few people you WANT to fight with versus people you don't want to it would be fun.

We had a 2 v 2 spar tourney if I'm not mistaken, Jkool organised it. Was a good event idea :) except the room is just to small for 2 v 2 spars.

Yah if they make a room for 2 vs 2 it will be the 2 vs 2 spar.
That's the reason why he makes this threat.

Not just that, I think if we could organize team spars/events by ourselfs it would be fun.

They would need a bigger spar room.
But they could always block the entrance till each side has 2 players then start.

E.g. Have a spar where it has to spars (Team 1), (Team 2). Within the spar room have boxes in the middle which get taken away 5 seconds after each team has 2 players and the one player on each team says 'Start'.

We did have a 2 vs 2 spar... It was a event. And i said we had a 2 v 2 spar.

Not only spar can be used for sparring. Iricia can actually be a 2 v 2 spar, as well as Gwars, koth and any planet with 2 teams..
Though I see what your saying and a 2 v 2 spar room would be nice though it could add on to the lag a lot of players receive on the spar planet.

My general idea was to have more stuff where you can choose your team/friends and fight along side them without anyone else that bothers you.

A 2 on 2 Spar Arena was being worked on in Debug I believe. Whether we see it released is a different story.

I have organized an 2 on 2 Spar Tourney event, but that isn't 2 on 2 at the same time, obviously

maybe we could have like a spar-event planet, with a small medium and large spar rooms, and staff can manually assign people to a team and warp both teams up into whichever room, like up to 5v5 in large room.

or perhaps players can organise their own team spar team, like 3 players create a team, and name it, and these teams can go to a specific team spar planet, and get rating by winning, if the team is dispanded, the rate gos, this way you could work out specific moves and fighting styles to become the top arena team :)

That idea is so much better, like a party sparring. Like make a party, have a warper to the level, when all players are there countdown from 5 and start.

We can just use Guild wars for a 2v2 spar.. or any other planet with teams if you haven't noticed.

but it would be esier to spar 2v2 in a 2v2 spar room, usually you get interupted on guild wars, besides, thats now what its for.

I wouldn't mind a 2v2 spar though there's other matters like the bugs being fixed and balancing of guns I'd like to see done first.
