When did you start playing Graal?
Around 2000. What was the first server you got "hooked" on? Graal the Adventure. Who did you look up to when you first started? No one special, everything was awesome as it was my first online game ever. List a few goals you made when you were new to Graal (even if you haven't accomplished them yet) To be in the Graphics Administration team. It was so awesome, they had a secret cave hideout where you had the special team suit and a staff with special powers, made you feel like a super hero. What are some of your best memories on Graal? The hacking, I remember using some trainer that changed what people said, it was very fun but I got jailed a lot tho. I also loved the massive guild wars. What are some of your worst memories on Graal? Hmm not much really, only that people wanted my head on a pole outside of volurans mausoleum, but as you all know I love drama ;) Who were your friends when you first started? Sometime in either late '03 or '04. What was the first server you got "hooked" on? Delteria Who did you look up to when you first started? I remember when I first played, the first server I connected to was Valikorlia. Not sure why, but meh. I was suprised when I found myself stuck in a tree, wall, or something. Not sure what. Someone named Athen or Apollo or something along those lines told me about "unstick me", and from there he was my first friend on Graal. Too bad I haven't seen him since back then. EDIT: His name was Aris. List a few goals you made when you were new to Graal (even if you haven't accomplished them yet) Just have fun. I wanted to be some vaguely known, remotely popular guy, just having fun and doing my thing. idk if I made it there, but I've had fun. What are some of your best memories on Graal? That first day on Valikorlia, even if I can barely remember it. Or my days of exploring trial island on my first expedition on Graal Kingdoms. PK'ing on Delteria along with their hot players and abusive staff. Being a complete noob and going crazy over finding a Cloud or Link "head code" at the time. One of my fondest was probably when I became an ET on Delteria. What are some of your worst memories on Graal? Not sure really. I can't think of any hopelessly tragic moments. Who were your friends when you first started? Aside from Apollo/Athen/whatever, I've had some old friends who I still play with today, albeit they're not as active as they once were. Shroomy, who I possibly met during the whole "MHX" events on Delteria. Johnnay, who I have no idea where I found him. Aflack, Ketsomaru, and Syn, all old faces from Delt. Wolfey Xanadu, a real life friend who I introduced to Graal (much to the dismay of some people). How did you find out about Graal? I remember I used to steal magazines from the waiting room in a hospital my aunt worked at. One of them was an old "PC Gamer" or "PC Games" magazine with a Matrix cover. On several pages, all bright yellow, it listed 50-100 "free" PC games, ranging from Dwarf Fortress, to Neopets, to "Five Finger Fillet", to holy crap, Graalonline. It didn't actually give you the address "graalonline.com", but instead to the cyberjoueurs site where you played it in Java (lolgone). From there, well, here I am. |

'98/'99 What was the first server you got "hooked" on? Classic, it was the only server around back then, unless you happened to know the IP for the other servers. They didn't have the list. Who did you look up to when you first started? No one that I remember. List a few goals you made when you were new to Graal (even if you haven't accomplished them yet) Everyone wanted to be GP. It was really the only staff job... My goals however were to get into a good guild and get a house uploaded. They rejected my house because the 'black' I used was not blocking :( What are some of your best memories on Graal? Sitting outside the bank causing trouble, and trying to 'claim' the castle thrones in castle wars. What are some of your worst memories on Graal? Um... I dunno... List a few goals you made when you were new to Graal (even if you haven't accomplished them yet) -Becoming one of the top LATs on Graal. -Getting an RC. -Being LAT Admin on a server. What are some of your best memories on Graal? Generally anything from 2001-2002 was really fun. Xone is given, as its my fav server of alltime. I remember being in a guild called Neurotic on Mithica, we would block off the main bridge and PK the entire server for fun. With no staff experience I immediately became asst ET Chief on Enigma because I was friends with t3ck. Binary didn't like t3ck so he fired him and promoted me within a day or two. This was back in 2001 hehe, I continued to be (a bad) ET Chief there until sometime in 2002. I was part of a 'real' Graal family on Delteria, my "son" was Admin and had made a mountain town there. He let me upload my house which contained some pk pie/beer/pizza. This was harmless at first as not many people knew about it, but within the month entire guilds were raiding my house trying to claim the stuff. At one point MHX (formally known as Hunters) was seriously guarding my house and blocking off my kitchen. They let me and my graal wife (LOL YES I HAD ONE) through but not anyone else. I didn't like it so I called The Birth Defects (these guys are still around) and they ****ing cleared my house out in a matter of minutes. There was another time where I randomly logged on, went into my house, and saw 2 guilds having a guild war inside my house. They were running around the pool, living room, etc. It was hilarious at the time. What are some of your worst memories on Graal? Elrond/Elveroth/Aeglos quiting. Xone going down. Delteria/Val on life support. Graal going full P2P. Watching Zodiac go classic despite it's piss poor quality in every aspect of development. Who were your friends when you first started? I had none. I didn't have friends until about one year later. It was only people from Xone, like the already mentioned Elvy (was my nickname for him), Todo, Teepo, Jetsuki, Hurumi, Sean, Boco (known as Knux now) etc. How did you find out about Graal? Was browsing through a flash site (we used to do this in middleschool, a lot) tryin to play some games in the computer lab and I saw one with the description going something along the lines of "Zelda - like RPG game, play with friends!". I went home and tried it, then downloaded the actual client. [/lifestory] |

Once that died Graal Kingdoms and once GK died it was Era! Who did you look up to when you first started? Brent Noggin, Boco, LiquidIce [UN old manager, monkey fella], Ningnong and also my brother [wankadaman]. From scripting [two years ago] Skyld and Velox. April of 2000, my sister started a little later that year. What was the first server you got "hooked" on? Classic :p It was the only one I ever played. I don't even remember there being any others. Who did you look up to when you first started? Minamoto and Sir Xero. Minamoto cuz he was just awesome and my best buddy for the longest time, and Xero because he was a GP and that naturally made him super awesome to a 12 year old. List a few goals you made when you were new to Graal (even if you haven't accomplished them yet) I really just enjoyed having fun on it. I barely even knew what gameplay was back then. I probably wanted to get all of the hearts, and I think after a while I did, but I was in no huge hurry to do so. What are some of your best memories on Graal? Meeting Minamoto! He was wonderful. His first words to me were "Quit yer gloatin or I'll cut ye in half!" Then we fell in love. What are some of your worst memories on Graal? Stefan telling me he was going to shoot my kitten in a forum PM last week. Also, pass the bomb. Who were your friends when you first started? Floor, Minamoto, Kannon, Malus, Boston, Xero, and some other people ^^ How did you find out about Graal? NY Chris introduced me to it first.. the whole first week or more of playing, he told me that I 'wasn't ready' for the real world of Graal and made me stay in the newbie area.
