RC glitch HELP
 

I just purchased a player world. When I logged on to my RC it says:

You don't have admin rights.
You don't have admin rights.
You don't have admin rights.
You don't have admin rights.
You don't have admin rights.
...etc

so I logged on to RC using my Graal#### and I also put my Graal#### in the server options under staff=.

I emailed bell but I'm not sure if she is active anymore. Any active globals I can email or any ideas on how to fix the problem?

Did you open your player attributes, copy your IP address then paste it in the IP address area of your player rights?

enter your Graal# as account instead of your e-mail/communityname (im not sure if its that what you ment in your first post, so sorry if you already tried it :) ). thats what helped me all the time

Graal automatically fills these feilds in now-a-days... hehe

Account name to login rc, community name in the serveroptions and your problem will be solved 100%.

Also, make sure when giving yourself NC that you have rights to some weapons and such

I doubt that it will matter if you got the weapon rights etc. I also believe it's suggested to use the account over the communityname

Hmm, well when I use community instead it works. Sometimes using account did not work. Maybe was a bug for me or mac os x.. but anyways i now i had a similar problem on my server because I didn't have any weapons or classes in my folder rights.. but if he follows that he should have it working :)

yeah that's the first thing I did.

maybe when you log in using the communityname you should use the communityname in serverops or if you log in using the account ID then use the account in the serverops ^^

There is no guarantee you will even get a response, good luck.

It's just crazy that I spend like 65$ to rent a server for 6 months and it doesn't even work.

This is pretty typical of them though, we believe they're extremely crazy.
Hopefully you're lucky in getting serviced.

Well since you bought the server, the only people with power over this (I think) are either going to be the PWAs or Stefan that can help you.
You could try emailing Stefan or contacting Gabriel or Stephen for more information.

I think Bell is still a PWA. She's probably the best bet.

If your Client-RC works, you most likely did not follow my advice. community name in server options, login using account name, add folder rights to your self.

Heres how you debug this situation.

1) Does it give error for client-rc?
2) did you use correct serveroptions/account for login?
3) do you have folder rights (aparantly this is extreamly critical)

I had this problem with a playerworld I bought on a non-community account. a full fledged p2p account from a decade ago so there was no account/cmmunity name mixup. and the solution actually turned out to be there needed to be 1 weapon actually scripted (i used client rc to bypass the problem) I also needed folder rights.. after that it was like magic and loved me.

I think she still is but shes taking an absence as announced in other threads.

Those both are correct, now make sure you ONLY login using graal### account, because logging in with community name will spam the hell out of the rc with "you do not have admin rights"..

You might also want do type these commands, in this order, into rc.

I noticed sometimes the npc server needs restarted.

BUT now I ran into another problem. I can make weapons but I can't make "in-folder" weapons

for example, I can make a weapon called "Test"
but i can't make a weapon called "Main/Test"

Here is the error I got:
i8bit prob: No write rights for WEAPONS/MAIN/ACTIONS

How do I fix?
