delete betflipping

all it's doing is making a few rich and a larger portion of players quit since they lost all their money. i don't think this is a good idea for the server

Tim_Rocks 12-27-2012 11:45 AM

Delete your virginity and we'll consider deleting the betsflipping system.

Godzilla 12-27-2012 12:19 PM

I have won over $10,000,000 from the betflipping system but I agree that deleting it could benefit a few players, including myself, I would hate to lose my money.

Demisis_P2P 12-27-2012 12:27 PM

Remove guns since all they're doing is making a few rich and a larger portion of players quit since they lost all of their guns.

shrimps 12-27-2012 12:52 PM

Delete Graal since only a few have fun and the larger portion of humanity don't.

Boy that escalated quickly.

it's obviously a while u don't play, buying and selling guns makes also no profit since selling prices are close to pawn prices.

immagine how many people godzilla took all their money from. he probably made 15-20 kids quit cuz they lost all their stuff. now, you could say that people should be capable to play responsibly but most people on era are kids who are gambling for the first time in their lives

BlueMelon 12-27-2012 06:10 PM

Its risking your money, same with the slots (which have been there for long time).

Yea, delete something players have been requesting for a while...
Yea sure, delete something that players enjoy...

Crow 12-27-2012 06:22 PM

It removes emotionally unstable players who have to leave because their virtual money is gone. I like it!

shrimps 12-27-2012 06:27 PM

Hey, the slot machine you never lose money, you only slowly and steadily gain money. :(

I did those things for like 3 hours while they were making bet flipping and didn't get a single jackpot. Nas walked in and did one row of machines and got a jackpot.

Racist. :\

bloodykiller 12-27-2012 10:29 PM

slot machines don't allow you to lose money at an extremely fast rate. if the highest possible bid in casinos in real life was 1$ then not many people would be addicted to gambling

u can keep making up excuses staff, but all betflipping does is make people quit

When do you plan on quitting?

Yeah! Everyone being *******s aside..this is why it should stay. We're a couple hundred people on a dying game, if more people like it than don't, might as well let them have at least that

maximus_asinus 12-28-2012 01:41 AM

bloodykiller 12-28-2012 01:58 AM

i've never even tried to betflip

taylor 12-28-2012 02:19 AM

Yep, I just lost 1k. I quit.

shrimps 12-28-2012 02:54 AM

most people start small. everything is cool when they're winning but when they start losing they start bidding high and very often lose all their money. this is when they pawn all their guns and sell all their hats. in less than an hour they went from being rich to having nothing so the game starts to suck, therefore they quit
i rly can only see negative effects of betflipping, there's nothing positive about it

Godzilla was going to quit because he had no money and no items, and then he won 5 mil on betflipping and stayed. So there's your positive effect.
Then staff took the 5mil off him and he was going to quit again, and then he won 10 mil on betflipping.

So betflipping actually stops players from quitting.

TSAdmin 12-28-2012 09:42 AM

There's always going to be something that makes people wanna quit, but in the long run, it was their choice to try it out and keep doing so until they had nothing left. It's perfectly balanced. No need to remove it just cuz people quit over it. As Demisis just said, too: It's also making people stay. You need to be unbiased and consider all angles before you make a thread demanding the removal of something.

there's a reason why minors can't gamble. i'm not against gambling in real life (although i've only gambled small amounts playing texas hold em) since most people who have access to large amounts of cash gamble responsibly

so we basically traded godzilla for like 10 players who lost everything?

papajchris 12-28-2012 04:09 PM

well godzilla is a cutie

taylor 12-28-2012 04:38 PM

There's no such thing as quitting for you guys... and if there is it means you making a thread trying to recieve some sort of attention then coming back in the following month, maybe 2 at the greatest. So I still don't understand you completely @ bloodykiller.

people who rly quit don't make threads

Tim_Rocks 12-28-2012 10:32 PM

Shut the **** up already, Tk

Demisis_P2P 12-28-2012 10:53 PM

I think he's just mad that players have made almost as much money as him in only a few weeks, whereas it took him a few years and hundreds of USD to get that rich.

Tim_Rocks 12-28-2012 11:27 PM

Don't forget scamming players and tricking them to think the value of an item was lower so he could sell high.

taylor 12-28-2012 11:34 PM

In all honestly I'm thinking you take this game just a little to high above the normal "bar"... come down on everyone else's level and take it for what it really is. @ bloodykiller

The first step is admitting you have a problem :)

i started playing Texas Hold'em and almost qualified for the world championship in japan which only a dozen players world-wide participated in...i quit when i was 14 even though i was among the youngest pro players in italy, most people playing were 18-25 but there were even some 50 year olds playing

Tim_Rocks 12-30-2012 01:37 AM
