It's a nicely done system, but highly detrimental to gameplay, and really should just be removed.

If this is the direction PKing will take, Era won't draw much of a crowd.

Having to use the mouse for anything on Graal (aside GUI's now and then) is really frustrating.

I tried it, and it's just annoying to run around and don't have the freedom to aim where you want.

"Nerfing" it would indicate that it's overpowered to begin with, which it's not - it's something that cripples the gameplay of the server completely.

Classic example of misuse of the term "nerf".

I didn't know the system was required to be used. /sarcasm

Anyways I haven't had much time to mess with it but i think it would be useful especially in close quarters.

I've made it so the player is slower whilst in that mode, if it's still over powered i'll give it to people with less than 100 hours, to get them to know Era. Any more/better suggestions?

Remove it. Also, in the future, get rid of any mouse based gameplay.

Its actually a pretty good feature, if you want better aim, then you give up a good chunk of speed for it.

After all, Graal is a keyboard based game. People tend to forget that.

One timeeee there was a server called Bravo Evolved.
It didn't have guns at first, but eventually mouse-aimed guns were added.
Then the server died.

That had more to do with GlubGlub and Darkon quitting when MD released guns since they were against it, but yeah.

It's just a dumb feature that will fade into the darkness like the old /dancegame command. Nothing is overpowered about it, learn your terminology.

It's just one more thing to worry about if you are going to attempt to use it.
Also, if you were to use it with a TG or similar then you would be deemed the worst pker on Era and get shunned.

They give the kids better guns so they could get better at PKing, they ban Wil so they can actually win things, now they need to aim for them? You guys are losing sight of Era if you think this update is anything but useless.

My suggestion would be to trash the idea and forget this ever happened, just go work on something worth your talent that will improve the server.

The only thing that would make it better is if it automatically held D down for me so I could drink my coffee while I'm sparring.

The speed lost is okay, but the 5 damage lost is the part that makes me not use it anymore.
