Insert Image URL Mass/PM
 

vBulletin or pretty much any sort of application has this feature.

I get asked all the time on UN how to put pictures in mass messages. It's not that big of a deal but it would make it easier for new and old people alike.

I'm sure it would be very easy to implement.

Edit: The button should say "Insert Image" as I didn't mean attach.

Would be cool if it displayed the image before you pm'd/mass'd it. instead of
"<img src=http://www.link.com>"

Got a problem with HTML? I prefer using HTML to do it rather than scripting an insert image bar / button

Would make advertising and worse way worse. Weeds out the idiots.

Can't servers script something like this by themselves? Or maybe a button to add the html tag to a link?

Yeah but it wouldn't work for everyone.

Not all use scripted player list. Like me.

PM Windows are scripted regardless of the playerlist you use, I think.

Well, the problem is that we cannot edit GuiPM contorls in any way, so it is impossible to add this feature. Believe me, I have thought of trying to do this a long time ago, as I'm sure Skyld and Stefan have too.

If the PM window is ever remade, it would be nice if it was more like this.

I did notice when you added that button to the PM's on GK, that's a very convenient button.

for anyone who doesn't play GK, it's the "Disable Startup PM" check at the top of the PM box, no one likes the red PM every time you log in.

It's possible right now to only show things like that on certain PMs. I'm not sure why it's showed on all PMs (intentional?). The only thing that you can't change/read is the actual text.

Chris you should make it so where that gui that came up for the Era & Un events, can come up for regular use also, like masses but another way to communicate, im sure people would use it, you could make towards where people with guilds could talk to each other on it, like gangs and parties.

Just another optional use than saying /tg blah blah blah blah.

There was one, you opened it by pressing "c". No one ever used it so we removed it.

Just like the phone system and mail system...z.z

To bad, I thought the phone system was cool.
