Graal Bible waiting for reply...

http://wiki.graal.net/

Not technically down, nor is it technically loading.

Darlene159 10-17-2009 04:29 AM

support center is down again too

Matt 10-17-2009 04:54 AM

These forums are loading very slow for me, as well.

Sometimes gmail is down and I freak out, then it's back 48 seconds later. At that point I sigh in relief and tell all my friends to calm down, and they all sigh in relief too.

That's beside the point because the website is still down. And it would be very useful to me right now if it was up.

Crono1508 10-17-2009 05:46 PM

Bump

Site is still down!

Deas_Voice 10-17-2009 10:18 PM

Well, not too hard. When it's down, it's down for days or weeks. So, chances it's down when you need it are pretty high.

cbk1994 10-18-2009 12:01 AM

I wonder if we should just give up trying to access graal.net and just go for the Google caches instead?

EDIT: I mentioned it to Stefan, hopefully it'll be fixed soon :\.

Door 10-18-2009 04:27 PM

ya why

oo_jazz_oo 10-30-2009 04:21 AM

I'm bumping this thread because the graal bible has seemed...weird lately.

Sometimes it loads, sometimes it doesn't.

And it seems to be at the same time during the day when it doesn't load.
It gets frustrating when your trying to make something and need to reference the graal bible. >_> (Mostly for gui controls)

So, is this problem just me?

DustyPorViva 10-30-2009 04:40 AM

Stefan just posted that they have been moving things to different servers, including the wiki.

oo_jazz_oo 10-30-2009 04:46 AM

I didn't think it was related since its been doing this for me for over a week.

DustyPorViva 10-30-2009 04:59 AM

Wiki has always had downtime issues. However, posting on the day that it's being moved to a new server isn't likely to get you any answers :) You should wait a day or two and see how it acts on the new server.

oo_jazz_oo 10-30-2009 05:16 AM

True. :P

I just didn't even think about that. XD I posted because I was trying to get on the site, and became frustrated because it happens so much. :P

Deas_Voice 10-30-2009 03:51 PM

Wiki is down. yet again, when i need it. >_<

Liberated 10-30-2009 04:18 PM

They said they'd be moving servers sometime soon right?

Admins 10-30-2009 04:42 PM

We are moving everything, that's why it's taking some time. This can still take a few days, sorry for those problems.

Estimated time for the Bible and Support center to be back?

Admins 11-13-2009 06:41 PM

It should hopefully be back end of November.

Come on guys, everyone knows that moving servers means: printing out all the information, crossing the Atlantic Ocean in a rowboat, then typing it all back into a different computer. A lengthy process by any means! Cut the bloke some slack.

Crono1508 11-17-2009 09:40 AM

GraalOnline GuildCP has been down for the past several days, is this because of the server transfer?

Admins 11-18-2009 02:34 PM

Fixed the GuildCP.

Matt 11-18-2009 05:35 PM

Thanks. ^^

Graal Wiki is long overdue...
tbh this is starting to really annoy the hell outta me, it's the site that is the most useful by far.

What are you guys trying to access on there that's making it such a big inconvenience? The only thing I've found particularly useful on that site was the GuiControl pages.

I'm sure a few people might have paid upgrade their account, specifically for the wiki. Big inconvenience.

Tigairius 11-23-2009 08:16 PM

The wiki is being fixed by unixmad right now. Unixmad is having to do a lot of tedious work in order to restore it because they want to make sure no data was lost, so instead of restoring a backup they are sort of "undoing" the damage that happened.

Hopefully it'll be back soon, just try to be patient.

It's good to get an update, thanks.

From what I heard there was another exploit with the support center software, and it was abused via SQL injection (?) to mess with the wiki.

I could be way off, though.
