And thanks Justin made the original body graphic I just finished them up (fixed the pixel errors too) and organized them lolz I also made some variations of the bodies such as race and sickness ect... Below attached is a snap of the tileset I made (The idea for it came from windwaker) and also a diff character body. UPDATES: Created body variations / ethnic variations Im working on God's Level Path NPC - This npc does everything you can imagine to a level. It's almost done!!! Its probably one of the hardest things I have ever scripted because it is so comprehensive its almost insane. I will give an example of a level created with it, The main thing now is testing different values with the random seeds that im using. Although its no substitute for hand tiling it can probably reduce the ammount of time to tile a level by 80 or more % depending on how indepth you plan on getting. The water on water part is the most painfull because you have 2 tiles for water sides and then you have to do all those freakin calculations for placing tiles its making my head hurt. It does things in this order through the whole level with one click - Paths dirt into grass - Paths grass into grass - Paths grass onto grass - Paths deep water onto water ( I may just drop this out and make a seperate path npc for it) - Adds 1x1 variation tiles ( water rock / grass scraps / weeds / blah) - Adds almost all predefined objects as well as defined ones that I have created @ a random rate all about level. ( all of this is added @ a random rate of course) The hardest part so far has been the pathing because it doesnt involve mouse dragging interaction it has to decide a route to take a kind of A. Im doing it mostly in random sized rectangles usualy smaller than 30x30 because of it interfering with other things too much that can all be changed later depending on how much of what I want where. *END rant* err updates :) |
