I think this is a great idea. When it comes out I plan on buying a server. I have no intention of being productive or working on an upcomming server. I intend to upload my stockpile of levels I have on my hard drive that I've made over the years. As well as a place where some close friends can work on scripts and just generally work on projects and skills. Basically all I plan on doing is a dev server in which I work with no goal in mind other than the pure joy of making levels and scripts or any other graal related job I feel inclined to do and the joy of not having it open to the public so I can listen to day after day of Can I b ur friend? Can I be et admin, omg u r *** I hate u! Ok back to my semi-quitting graal until this is released. 8)

These servers we pay for, arent just in private.. are they? :( I want Everworld open to everyone O:

i plan on getting EoA up privately, by paying the monthly fee... then after a few months, ask for a review, and hopefully go up publically

You only get 2 weeks in private right now, or at least that's how it's supposed to be...

I stand by my suggestion of instead of having them all be private (you could chose to be private of course) they should make a new tab in the serverlist for payed servers

I thought the same thing about having a 3rd tab for playerworlds that are purchased by players it just makes more sense because otherwise how are people supposed to know they exist? Sure some people can check boards. Others through word of mouth from another server. But for newbies who dont really know much about entering a server name in or how to look in RC to see all currently hidden playerworlds it just doesnt make much sense when compaired to a 3rd tab.

i even thought that 1 month was kinda short...

it keeps changing every few days anyways... i think if you show you are actually working, and not just sitting around, they would probably give you more time... i think it's more of a case-by-case basis

It has been 2 weeks for some time you just aren't up on the PW Rules. And no all PWs are treated the same , the rules are for all either you make it or you don't and it is removed so I suggest you have your act together before it goes private. Check the other related threads on this topic much has been said on it. And it doesn't change every few days, you just haven't been following it these past few months and that is obvious by your post.

I always felt that there should be a third tab, but I felt it should be a third tab that consists of playable demo playerworlds.
Like make a small 16 level world with some great npc's and GK gfx to advertise to new trial users. Probably allow them to save their stuff too for only 10 hours of playing time.

the rules on getting a server online do change often, and to a degree, it does depend on the server... they may not say it flat out, but it does.
