i think hes given up, i never see anyone on zone really let alone power.

I can usually pull 5-6 people from just sitting there. I haven't been doing that lately cause without Biggie it gets boring faster.

biggy should be manager, he can probably pull a better playercount than power even without lame updates.

Nobody on Zone is even qualified to run the server. We just have to start getting outsiders to do the work for us, it worked with Codein.

A lot of others can develop too, it just takes somebody who's willing to stick by a dead server and listen to the complaints players have to offer...even knowing that players find a way to turn on you with each update you release.

I don't know much about izone, but I can tell you this: Nothing is going to change with the release at all, unless the management decide they're ready to change first. The only thing I have seen out of this management is laziness. Take a look at the binoculars, exactly how long does it take to replace them with sniper vision? They have time to release unfinished work (new ctf), but don't have the time to fix the problems we already have on the server. And now what, they practically quit?

yeah, in my opinion zone on FB should come with a huge content rollback, the game was better 5-7 years ago, accounts should be reset too, some people will lose event weapons but i dont think anyone with perms even plays. there may be 2 that log on so dosent really matter if it annoys them.

content rollback, commited and capable manager, izone = chance in my opinion

No reset

ReptarKingOfTheOZone 05-22-2011 08:48 PM

i think a reset would be better when zone goes facebook.

Zone doesn't need a reset. You would only lose old-players on doing that.
Not to mention that there is no economy on Zone that would require a reset.
Most other servers do a reset because of Economy failure, not because some random ideas that everything would get better doing so.

something that last in the long run, that is what Zone really needs.

Shadow5596321 05-22-2011 10:16 PM

Why do you think that an reset ultimately means that an economic problem caused it? Zone does in fact need a reset or an extreme roll back before the Dan-era/Turing point in Zone where events became the server.

The only old players that even have enough perms to be upset by it would be Bigtime and me, and we would prefer winning and gaining our stuff back if it means we get to actually have fun.

Feonix 05-23-2011 12:18 AM

izone isn't going to last unless preparations are made first. Like bigger event maps, and the balancing of some weapons. Might as well change up the PP prizes too, 300+ players running around with 3-month RP's is one of the last things we need.

The only old players that still stick around are Mike and Bigtime, and as far as I know they support the idea. x_x

releasing zone on facebook in its current state would be a bad idea. everything is unbalanced. a content rollback would be the best option.

i know stefan wont take out the gelat store, but i think he should class lock the gelat weapons to balance them.

as far as player resets go, its already been said, also, very few of the players on stats board still play and some stats are high, if FB brings in a large wave of new players, it would be nice for all stats ect to be reset so the new players will be able to compete for top spots without 6 years of playing.

Feonix 05-23-2011 01:44 AM

A reset will be fun around the time when izone comes out. I would rather start all over trying to obtain high ranks again with a wave of new players, than still be rank Elite right now with my exp making little progress. When Codein took over, it was the first time I was gaining both zone money and exp so fast in a long time.

Deas_Voice 05-24-2011 07:06 PM

"facebook Zone" is likely to be the "iZone" or Zone on a new server, since i don't think porting the server right over will work very well ( optimizing scripts, etc etc), therefor, there is no need for all that on "PC Zone'

Shadow5596321 05-24-2011 09:26 PM

I'm sorry, are you that stupid or do you just feel like pointing out the obvious?
