The combat system is really awesome ^^
other than the one little positioning bug i noticed at the first duel, it seems almost perfect to me :D now work more on the content and u have urself an awesome server with the most original(working) combat system in the history of graal :P |

I am releasing a beta of the combat system. Right now it deals random damage between 0 and 9 whenever you attack, when I get back in a couple of hours I will implement the damage formula, THAC0 and AC. Please, try it out, and post your suggestions etc. If you find a bug, please post about it, would be great if you could explain how it occurs. To duel someone, say: /duel <charactername> For example "/duel Ziro". You have to wait for the other player to accept the duel, but if it isn't accepted within 60 seconds, it will time out and cancel the duel request. |
I'd like to see age of conan-like PVP which includes guilds building cities, castles, ship battles, and player owned houses, and sieges! :D

Implemented THAC0 and AC and whatever effects it have on combat, as well as the famous Critical Hit/Miss system (AD&D <3).
However, damage formula isn't fully completed, still think about how to do that one. It'll be based on AD&D edition 2, but I also want to add my own twist too it. Tough job indeed... Now, if only I could get the rest of the staff required to make this server a success... :cry: Quote:
