This. Lack of a "sense of direction" is possibly the highest complaint among new players.

Even though your an a-hole to me for no valid reason, you make an excellent point :P we definitely need a sense of direction in GK. Most newbies quit within the first few minutes because they are stuck with the crappy starting gear. As for the gold subscription, seeing as how the server has AIDs and is slowly dying, it definitely should be removed as well :p

Alright guys, I'm going to review some of the better suggestions and try to piece some ideas together. Once I have a clear idea of how this can all mash up I'll post some stuff for your review.
