Take it to PMs, we don't care.

Don't expect any ironic timing posts on this one, it will probably take a while.

Hopefully it won't take too long to get the server classic-account enabled. I'm really looking forward to a place where I can develop independently of Valikorlia.

Okay, we're accepting beta testers for the server to use the server for their own personal needs. It's still very far from being complete, but the more people we have testing the server the better we can stamp out security problems. Right now it's only for gold members.

When you log on you will receive a signup button in your blue graal taskbar in which you can apply for RC/NC. Everyone will get the same amount of folder rights no matter which development position you click (except for NPC-Control, which you can apply within in the sign up form if you're interested).

By default everyone on the server has warpto rights, but are not allowed to warp in to locked levels, etc.

For those worried about the 'bad' people that are there to just cause trouble. Wouldn't this actually be a good thing in the long run? It would make it quite public that these people should not and can not be trusted and they would soon find themselves unable to get a staff position on any server that is trying to develop seriously. Word spreads very fast amongst developers when someone resorts to theft or server destruction when they are attacking their own kind. I've had discussions that there should be some sort of list of those people that can be made public for awhile now but no real way to implement it. This seems like it would help in that implementation by default.

I don't know how fair a list like that would be; I've certainly done things several years ago when I was ~9 years old that would get me on that list, and as far as I know, I can be trusted now to develop.

Well, obviously over time people could work their way off that list. Everyone makes mistakes when they're younger.

Yea, obviously. But we'd be talking about the here and now. There are certain people who's quest in life is to do nothing but steal content and claim it as their own or trash servers. If nobody was willing to hire them then it just might make them decide that kind of fun isn't much fun anymore.

Damn, they must have sad lives if that's their quest in life.

It's not stupidity, it's civil disobedience. They're true Amerikan heroes.
