But thanks for the heads up, I have come across a few tiles which are walk-able, though not intended to be.
I'll be adding posted changes later when I start working on it, though I'm curious, Crow, as to what your brick thing fixes? I didn't know there was a tile error with those.

Clouds? I didnt even notice. Hell, clouds are awesome. The stone thing changes the color of 4 small areas from the stone color to white, so it doesnt produce errors when tiling now. Try with and without.

Edit: Oh, yea, that forestish stuff where the lava tiles where, the very bottom left tile of the small tree is actually where a piece of fence was, might be shoot-through. But I doubt it matters.

The bricks Crow posted fixes some color errors when you stack the stones with pics1. :p

Edit: I didn't saw above post, sorry! :o

Hmm, there's a problem converting it to a type 1 tileset... it just doesn't support the needed tiles of a pics1. In that I mean that there's no tile support for bushes getting cut, vases to be picked up, rocks being picked up... and the flowers are bugged(laying more than one will only cause the first flower to animate). If you still want me to go through with it I will, but most of the pics1 tile support will have to be scripted.

Thats fine by me, I just like the format :)

Question, do those forest tiles have inside corners? Those high bush things?

DustyPorViva 01-23-2008 12:05 PM

Heh, no. I'll have to add them later, it looks like I completely forgot about them.

nice :D

You gonna do diagonal walls like that with other inside wall tiles?, and maybe it could be possible for outside houses? :O

Crow 01-23-2008 10:45 PM

They look skewed ;P Zelda's tiles didnt look like that. With the ones you made, it will look weird on one side of the wall I guess.

DustyPorViva 01-23-2008 11:05 PM

Well I originally made it to diagonally connect like so:
PHP Code:

  |
 /

It wasn't really meant for:
PHP Code:

  ___

/

But after being done, I didn't think it looked that bad. Doing it like Zelda would mean you wouldn't be able to do the first option at all. At least this way it doesn't look that bad both ways. (And no, I didn't just skew it)

I think its fine, yea, I would rather use the default castle walls to create a 90° anyway I guess. Nice work so far Dusty.

We definitely need that for inside corners.

He already added it, it's to the right of the castle tiles.
