You're weird, and a minority. Your vote doesn't count.

i couldn't really care what any of you think, I've only seen two people that play Zodiac actually post in this thread, the others probably used to work there.
you don't understand why I've done this, i don't accept corruption / abuse, many of you may / may not know, but I couldn't care. If it puts an end to it, so be it. You can have your opinion, that you're entitled to. however, when it comes to insults, you're going over that line. although, none of the insults that have been mentioned are actually insulting me ! from reading most of the posts, many of you don't even know why i did this, alot of you don't even understand how the detection works. i'll let you carry on with your whitty comments ! to be honest with you, i couldn't care less. if you're to think that i shouldn't be the co-manager of Zodiac, please forward this thread or file a support ticket and address the situation to Bell. thanks ^^ however, just so you're aware i did try and come to an easier solution http://forums.graalonline.com/forums...ad.php?t=77816 although many of you thought that the jailing was a bit to far, i am to disagree! maybe the time was, but that's it |

Ok, so you dont care, could you please explain the reason that you added that? Because I think that you could easily press the X button on top right of your screen to exit, or is that just me? And if you reallyu wanna screw someone over you just end the process with the Ctrl+Alt+del window, same way of leaving a party, innit? |

You're entitled to a comment, but when you don't know the situation or how it works, all that you're doing is making yourself look like an idiot ! gg ^^ |
Quitting isn't the problem at all.
When you press ESC, a little window comes up asking if you really want to quit. While this window is open, basically Graal is 'paused', no packets are sent to the client(according to what was posted earlier). This can cause a few different problems, so he implemented this to stop people from abusing this unforeseen side-effect. It has nothing to do with people quitting Graal. And Andrew, while some are coming off insulting, this doesn't really invalidate the criticism. Just because it gets the job done doesn't mean it's the best solution, as a scripter you should know this better than anyone. I think a few good ideas have been posted here, maybe some things to think about. |
My biggest issue with it was apparent the other day when I was in a party so I could get money from payout and stuff, but I was in Bad Dream and the person who hit esc was in Lichs or some crap because they were bored or something and wanted easy kills. My issue is the fact that I was in A dungeon, but no the SAME dungeon o.o and I got jailed.

Seems Zodiac favors the quick and dirty fixes now rather than actual fixes.... I call a vote of no confidence.
|
Intead of removing ESC althogether can't you just make an script (or w/e) that disables the ESC on Zodiac?

Sounded fun, i'd of abused it so others went to jail.

You know Andrew, I still thought you were O.K. even if you did have and attitude and give me negative reputation for stupid reason (part of your attitude) without even leaving your name, but what you're doing on Zodiac is rather stupid to put it simply, so I now don't like you. :D
... On second thought, I'm far too apathetic to experience irritation at you for more than a few seconds at most. So we're still friends :P Anyhow, jailing was most certainly over the top; what you've change it to now is much better than that however. You should be petitioning Stefan to fix this problem so you don't have to go to such lengths to stop abuse. |
