I have 3DS Max but I really have no idea how to use it. I'd really love to get into it seeing as I am going to college for Game Art and Design...idkkk.

Looks good though, I'd like to give Maya a run and see if I can catch on to it any quicker.

Perhaps when you learn stuff in college you can make a few tutorials for us :)

It's still technically free though. ;)

And thats cheap. Considering high end programs like Maya cost a assload of money.

I know some 3Ds Max stuff... I can make a human body in it... well the parts anyway, I always get too lazy and never complete an entire body. :p

I'm going to DAVE school in April. It's a year long Digital Animation and Visual Effects course. They mainly focus on using Lightwave but you basically learn 3D modeling, animation, compositing, etc etc... By the end of the year you have a demo reel of a 5-15 minute long video that has it's own professional packaging and everything.

Should be one heck of an experience. :)

My point exactly haha
I'd like to actually know what I'm going before I start blowing my horn.

killerogue 01-23-2007 05:48 AM

3D Canvas 7 owns. It's free as well. My suggestion is that you get it immediately. They're tutorials at the webpage. :]
