Known as idling, unfortunately that's now unacceptable, since its obtaining bounty unfairly, as for the idea I still think it would be stupid. The sound would be dumb but a Mass pm would be nice.

For those who do not want the sound for events, the administrator can added a compartment as in the image?

no they cant, that's a client setting, not a server setting.
it's up to you to reduce your volume so you can hear the sound but not the other sounds.

For what you propose nourdine, that would require a global setting change, as well as a rescripting of the SFX, mp3 or etc portion of the setting or changing the 'Event Sound' to a different type of sound beside SFX, mp3 and what ever else is stated in the sound system, otherwise you would be required to have them both on :)
