Segmentation Fault (Linux)

I recently upgraded my Intel i810 drivers in Ubuntu Dapper Drake and now I'm receiving Segmentation Faults whenever I try to run Graal. My direct rendering is working ok with other 3D/OpenGL games, but Graal refuses to start.

NPC Code:

Direct Rendering is enabled, Graal should run smoothly.
Processor Init:
Intel (unknown, Pentium Pro/II/III family), 1662 Mhz
FPU detected
MMX detected
SSE detected

data directory: /usr/share/graal/
user data directory: /home/dustin/.graal/graal4/
Scanning folder structure of /usr/share/graal/...
Scanning folder structure of /home/dustin/.graal/graal4/...
Done.
Activating the OpenGL display device (1)...
Setting screen mode to 640x480x32 (w)...
% Segmentation fault

It was working before?
Eventually try to open ~/.graal/graal4/graal4config.txt and set truetypefonts=false

Yes. It was working just fine before the upgrade and Graal works when I disable direct rendering (it's slow of course). I turned off true type fonts, but nothing is working I wish I had more information or a log that explained more than just "segmentation fault" but it's all that I'm seeing.

Nothing in ~/.graal/graal4/console.log ?
Eventually post the file ~/.graal/graal4/graal4config.txt here, I can only imagine that there is some video setting which is not working with your new driver, like a too huge window

The console log just contains the exact same stuff that I posted earlier. I will try messing with the graal4config.txt and hopefully figure it out. I'll post my findings soon.

I found that when I installed nvidia-glx, libglitz-glx1, xorg-driver-flgrx, and xorg-driver-flgrx-dev that these problems disappeared.

You can do this with sudo apt-get or Synaptic.

Cheers,

MMW

I'm not sure why you would need the xorg-driver-flgrx-dev package, but okay.

I'm not sure why I would need any of those because I have an Intel integrated graphics card, not an ATi or Nvidia But I've since uninstalled Ubuntu and I'm just on Windows now.

Yeah i think I will too. This box isn't that useful for me without direct rendering =(. Damn internal graphics .

It's almost certainly an issue with Ubuntu Edgy Eft. This was the first time since the earliest Graal 3 release that I've ever had a problem with Graal on Linux.
