Hello Everyone,
I realize I havent made many posts on the forums and people dont know me, however I really needed to post about hirings on Horizon.
I also realize from talking to people on some of the Classic servers that some may say that Horizon sucks, and I've gotten that from quite a few people actually. But we are in need of a more active staff team, as most of the time, we have few people on RC; Even when we do have people online, they are only idling.
With that being said,
Horizon is in need of:
-Just one, active NAT who knows what he/she is doing.
-Only 2-4 LATs, as Alberto, Mike and I have got a few of the positions covered.
-One active GAT as we do not have many jobs for them yet.
-We are not in too bad a need of a Gani Team, however if someone would like to apply for the position, by all means, go ahead.
Once again, if interested in applying for a job, the name if the server is Horizon (playerworld18)
-About-
The Horizon Revival Project will feature a Heath, Mana and Alignment Point system more within the classic nature, as to not overpower some players by too much.
What i mean by this is:
The maximum health of the player will all depend on playerhearts, as to not give some players an unfair heath advantage agains newer players.
The maximum mana will be linked to the classic Mana as well, and will always be 100, however I am thinking that the higher the AP of the player, the less mana the spells take to use; Killing other players will still lower AP :]
The strength of the attack power will all depend on the sword level of the player, much like on Unholy Nation and Classic, however the swords and weapons will be more on the RPG-style side. There are only two real benefits as of now, though the first isnt really one. The first benefit will be that the weapons will be more than just classic swords that are hidden until swung. The second will be the variations of attackspeeds, depending on what weapon you have equipped.
Of course, you will need to buy or find weapons so there will be baddies and shops where this can be done. There will be many types of weapons, sorted into a few categories, Melee:which will include swords, daggers etc., Ranged: which will include Bows only, unless another type of weapon is thought of, and Magic: Which of course, features spells.
There will also be food and potions, which wouldnt be hard to script really, at least I think, because of the fact we are using the classic mana and health systems.
Another slot within the inventory will be dedicated solely to questing items and items/weapons to be used during a quest, to make sure they are not used accidentally.
The GUI featured on Horizon, will monitor health, mana and AP using bars, instead of the classic 'yin yang' icons. As comes to mind, when the health bar reaches 0, the player will die; I am not sure whether warping the player back to the 'unstick me' point will be a good idea or a bad one, so its been left undecided for now.
The gmap so far will only be around 200-400 levels, though there will be many other inside levels, and I am also thinking of another Idea that im not too sure about -I'm not going to post it for now
