You could have a map staged in two parts. The first is a space battle. Two major team cruiser ships. From these ships, you can launch fighters or boarding craft. You can stay and man/repair your own ship or try and sabotage the other ship. Fighters have to escort boarding craft which are slow and weaponless.
Classes could be standard infantry, saboteurs, medics and repair people. When in enemy ship, you have to blow up key components to disable the enemy cruiser. Once this is done, the team with the remaining ship wins the battle.
Whichever team wins the battle will have some advantage on the ground map. Orbital strikes or similar
