recording
if i even attempt to record above 320x240, my game lags. why is this?

Keep in mind that you're using more system resources when you're recording. How much memory do you have, what video card, etc?

512mb, and i have an Nvidia GeForce 4 MX 420

And i still can't play recorded video..
I even installed the DivX player that was supposed to be able to play .avi
