I am working on a server, because I believe that this would be a good idea, and I want to see a good server up with good, classic-tileset levels. So here we are:
Introduction
This server will be an RP server. But before you sigh, complain, or click out of this post please listen. You got a bad taste in your mouth with RP servers with Val,
and there is a whole different side to RP. If anyone has played UO (Ultima Online),
you catch my drift.
How will RP'ing work on Toxic Gaiden? ((CodeName))
Well, first of all, and maybe most important for those who were dissatisifed (sp?)
with Val, "Pk'ing" will be legal. !But!, kingdoms will play a huge part in this
server, so, you will work with your "kingdom-mates," and you cannot attack them, and
vice-versa. Once you start the server, then you will get the hang of the general jist of
the RP'ing. Many events will be staged by staff, providing quests that open up. Staged
events can also spark wars.
Kingdoms.
As you start the game you do not get to choose a kingdom. Through the first
10-12 hours of game-time your actions determine which kingdom you will be in. You
can leave a kingdom, but the only way is to be exiled by the leader or High Ranking
Member. If this happens, you can travel to other kingdoms and ask to join but it is up to
the Leader and/or high ranking officials to let you in or not.

There will be 5 Kingdoms, names pending. Right before the server is(/if) put up leaders will
be chosen for each kingdom. Most Likely these will be staff members that helped
create the server, that I can trust, but we will see. The Leaders (or officials appointed by
the leader who are given the power to) may sign peace treaties with other kingdoms. If a
treaty is made, an admin will be informed, and it will be made so that the kingdoms cannot
attack eachother. ((Kingdoms cannot form treaties with more than 2 opposing
kingdoms.)) Depending on the kingdom you are in, your name will appear in different colors
to avoid confusion between kingdoms. Members of a certain Kingdom cannot enter an opposing
kingdom. There ae only 2 exceptions to this:
1. You are given a key by the Kingdom Leader, but kingdom leaders must be careful because
after giving a key to someone they can in return give it to anyone they desire.
2. One Kingdom declares war on another kingdom. One kingdom can only declare war on another
kingdom once a week (realtime).
Levels
Levels will be made with the origional tileset, no custom tileset. I, for one,
believe that this tileset is just fine. In places where more than the custom tileset is
needed, we will add GFX. We, surprisingly, are hireing in all levels of Developement.

Game Environment
About 70% of the land area will forest and wilderness, and the remaining 30% of the
land area will be Urban/City area. This will be a big "serch-and-find" server. You can just
walk around and stumble upon something noone may have found before. There will be
many different animals, I am planing on around 75 different ones. Each and everyone has
different characteristics.
Skills
Mostly all animals are "tameable." When you tame an animal
it then recognizes you as its master. You must feed it to keep it happy though. After you
tame an animal you can have it "attack" other animals and players. Other commands are:
"Stay" and "Follow." Your taming skill is what determines what animals you can tame.
Example: When you start the game you can tame a rat, but not until your taming skills go
up can you tame something of the calibur of a bear.
