Does anybody who works on UN even care about anything but events and random npcs?

Just started obtaining my 13 hearts and level 3 equipment... it is kind of horrible that the one classic themed server has these random ass quests. You can't get max equipment without a walkthrough to take you from random location to random location for each heart maybe someone should mandate some real quests that actually flow and can be reasonably found on your own.

That's actually part of the GP/FAQ's job now, walking people to/through quests.

Yah but the quests are pure memorization-- the server would be better than it currently is if they just made a room and put all the quest rewards in it for free when you first sign on.

they really are the worst quests of all graal

that's why i had someone warp me to the treasure chests instead of actually doing them

Yeah, give everything to you up front, then have actual well-designed quests for NPCs or something.

I said it'd be better than the random walk into a random house on the overworld and go into a random room, killing some baddies, solving a warp tile puzzle and sometimes solving a riddle that you would only know the answer to if you read the walktrought type quests that are currently and have been for years on UN.

Should be more like a huge boss with a very "active" battle to get a heart, like in Zelda 1.

But also have great puzzles and not "waste 2 mins by going there too get a useless clue".

i mean really, the quests aren't even close to the main focus of UN. they are more like remnants of the past that you get over with so you can actually start playing the server

babylon, delteria, enigma, doomsday, shaded legends, endora, hell even n-pulse

i guess it goes to show that awesome development doesn't mean you'll survive in the long run

It's also kind of annoying being a new player knowing you need a walkthrough to get up to par with everyone else on the server. You're missing out on a lot without the hearts and swords.

I believe you are looking for Classic...
UN will always be that, random quests with random NPCs, cars, and events.
