Error with level links.

I remembered this issue when I read Thor's post, but this error exists on v5 (have yet to try on v5.3).

If you enter a level through a level link that puts you directly on top of a level link, you can walk around on the level you entered but the server thinks you are in the level that the level who's link you were put on top of.

Example: The blob level on Maloria had two exists, both leading back to the overworld (mal.gmap). The top one placed you directly on top of a level link on the gmap leading back into the blob level, which made the client think the player was in mal.gmap letting it walk around everywhere and clientsided NPCs were responding to the player and everything. However, if you opened RC and checked what level the player was in, the server showed it as the blob level, and all the baddies inside that level kept attacking the player.

Quite severe bug I'd say. If Stefan needs to test it I can set it up online, but I fixed this issue by simply not putting the player on top of a new level link when exiting the previous level.

The level should be fixed. You can freeze or crash v5 with that.

It has been fixed quite a while ago, but shouldn't you fix so that the client itself won't react to level links in the destination level before the player moves or something?

Yeah. Your computer was freezing up. If anyone program is causing this there is two problems going on which could be seperate or intertwined with each other even but most likely seperate.

1. Said glitch is happening and is pretty much mind****ing your computer causing it to crash due to overload memory usage.

2. You have a virus that has done major damage to your computer in which even light stress is equal to having two graals, two wows up at once. (Not a smart idea on most computers).

In another topic, I told of the problems that installing a different graphics driver than i normally did caused. One of the other things that happened -and I've never been sure why. but this might be the cause- was that while playing graal, something would suddenly trigger my monitor to whack out (glitchy bars across the screen, and the screen was split down the middle, with the left side on the right, and the right side on the left, along with various color distortions and the like). which, after restarting, brought up a bluescreen informing me about an unrecoverable error, forcing me to wipe my hard drive. (i've had to do this about three times before i realized it was that particular graphics driver)
I know for a fact that there were no viruses or trojans, and it only happened with Graal. If this was the cause, it should definitely be fixed.

Sounds like your driver screwed up/wasn't installed correctly. Make sure you install the proper drivers and verify them afterwards. Also, make sure your comp has adequate ventalation around the Graphics Card to prevent over heating.
