Yep... Another item idea threads.. try to be a little more origional guys...

Event item: Monk Sash of Celerity(dam+20)(speed+7)(str+2)(dex+2)(con+1)(ac+ 3)(wc+3)(no weapons)

Event item: Gloves of Iron Fist(dam+14)(str+4)(wc+4)(no weapons)

Dustari Item: Dustarian Bastard Sword(dam+12)(wc+1)

Zormite Item: Crustation Curiass (ac+5)(armour+35)(cha+1)(wis+1)(con+1)

Forest Item: Boots of Shadowstalk (ac+1)(armour+2)(dex+2)(speed+4)(stealth)

Samurai Item: Will of Samurai (helmet)(str+1)(dex+1)(con+1)(wis+2)(ac+4)(wc+1)

Pirate Item: Cursed Bandana of Blood Lust (str+4)(dex+4)(con+4)(int-6)(pow-6)(wis-6)(cha-12)(100% spell failure)(sustinence-75)

Put a "cursed" attribute on it! Maybe that attribute can also come back up even after it's removed- like after a few days... or just when you trade it.

Overpowered. People DONT NEED THE WC FROM WEAPONS TO HAVE OVER -50 WC >.<

I love that you thought of a bastard sword, but a bastard sword is a huge, tall, heavy sword. Dam+15 - ish and speed-2 (no shield) would be good.

Also, sustenance seems to be bugged. Sword with +100 sustenance eat your food away at 500 per second (stryker found it)... so, -75 would be like, 75 food per second which could be reversed by Bile.

Also, how come your focusing so much on the top 3 stats Ed? I figure you'd have inovating pow+ wis+ items.

AC / WC system is part of the RPG-ish feel to the game. It also makes it so all monsters aren't like Baddies, and that you have a reason to level.

Also, it does take skill. You've got to know how to beat somebody. High ac = magic, high hp = lame, better then you in every way = flaming aura.

The game would be much better without duped and staff created items aswell.

The thing about magic
unless they're quick as <insert quickness anaology here>
they can't cast the spell before you smack them
so you could just attack them any time they pull out a wand easy
and with no ac or wc, it would take the reflexes you need on Classic and the other servers
Which means Dehitay would have the advantage

Event Item: Circlet of Sages (wis+2)(cha+1)(grace_regen+1)
Craftable item: Pearl Battle Sceptre (pow+1)(wc-2)(dmg+4)(wand + weapon)
Craftable item: Spellsword (dmg+6)(weapon + wand)

Monster Drop: Iguanadon Ribcage (ac+2)(armour+30)(regen+1)
Monster Drop: Petrified Demon Hand(amulet) (Random+1)(random+1)(random-2)


If you want balance... balance the game... the reason why everyone has so much stuff is because as everything enters the economy... nothing exits it.

If you don't like the system... sudgest to junk the whole thing or don't play... I'm just back because I'm sick of every other system.

In the end... AC+5 only gives an extra 1-2... It's nothing special, just looks big.
