The HTTP connection to 'xxx' is not authorized on this server

After Stefan rebooted UC and hosted servers yesterday, I've been getting this echo whenever I try to use requestURL(). Why is this? It's messing with a few of the systems on my server, such as Facebook integration, downloading external images to staffblocks, etc.

NPC Code:
The HTTP connection to graph.facebook.com:80 is not authorized on this server

I don't understand why this is necessary. Would love it if somebody in the know could explain why this has been added and if I can actually have requestURL() enabled on my server.

Because he doesn't want you requesting out and being able to pull the real IP of the servers.

Probably wants to stop people from backing up their servers too using that gsync script as well.
