It looks basic to my eyes, you could use a lot more tiles and detail it more.
Also... Zodiac's tileset?

Spark910 has a spectacular aura about
I think you could use the blackspace and fill it with cave tiles. Don't right click though, as it'll look rubbish, but perhaps you could even have corridors and parts you can see but cannot access, it would add to the idea that it's a whole cave system rather than just a circle of rocks in deep space.

The grass looks like you've tried to hard to make it random. I always find it easier to grab 1 square of tile then hold down the mouse button so the tile will apply whenever i move the mouse and just sketch out a rough shape of how you want to the grass/path or whatever to look like then fill in the edges. It's quite hard to explain so I don't know if that will make sense to you.

Anyway, it's a lot quicker and looks a lot better than doing it from imagination.

Edit:

I didn't want to leave you hanging without a proper explanation of what I said so I knocked up a quick example to better illustrate what I was trying to say.

It's looking a lot better, and no doubt you would have realised how much quicker it is too.
My only issue with it now is that edges look too straight. A dirt path should be more random and rugged. A good way to achieve that is by never using the same edge tile more than 3 times before changing the direction of the path.

Again this is quite hard to explain using words so I'll knock up another example of what I mean.

Edit: Both paths follow the same basic pattern but the one of the left has more change in direction. It makes the path look a lot more natural and worn out. I hope this helps.

the grass still looks out of place. This is how i do my grass. try to make it messy like branching off going crazy not too stright. another thing u can do is make a path way in the water an add spots of grass in the dirt ect. You just need to work on how you detail a level an gain grass skills.
