Just because you use paint doesnt mean you cant make things look "3D-ish".
I made this floppy disk and pentium 4 in paints and I think they both look "3D-ish" and good (I made them for my A+ class btw.)

Anyway, it doesn't look too bad, the shape is there, and it's recognizable as a floppy disk.

Might try to make one from a different angle, or try to give it some sort of depth next.
