I like Windows alright, but I prefer Linux overall. I'd like to confirm that anyone who runs Mandrake is virtually clueless as to what is going on at all. Anyhow, I have the same problems using an Intel i810 video driver provided in my kernel, along with DRI and AGPGart support. I've ran it on XFree and the latest version of Xorg. I've upgraded/downgraded libpng/mng. I have noticed that the shipped graphics work (transparency, correct colors) more often than others. I'ts really hard to say what the problem is, correct video display on Linux has always been a probelm for me though, for games such as Unreal and Doom.

I'd like to point out that the thread starter stated that he knew how to fix the problem ther I was having. Literally the same problems.
