Unhappy Having problem with graal!!!!

Ok people if anyone could please help me, that would be great. Ok I am running graal on a computer with a...

Windows XP
AMD Athlon(tm)XP 2100+ Processor
1.74 Ghz
512 MB Ram
128MB GeForce4 Ti 4400 Video Card.
DirectX 9.0
(All Drivers are up-to-date)

From what I understand this stuff should run graal with no problem, but for some reason when I am playing sometime I will just be walking between levels and such and my computer screen will suddenly go blue and show some error msg about memory...and will start counting. And I have to restart every dang time this happens. This problem only happens with graal to. So could anyone help explain to me why its doing that or fix this problem. It just becoming a pain that this problem happens all the time. Oh yea and if it doesn't do the blue screen thing it just suddenly restarts my computer as I am playing.

no the ram is top of the line stuff. It only causes the problem with graal. No other programs I mess with cause the problem.

There can be memory problems when you have RAM from different producers or so. But the more common problem are the gfx drivers or sound drivers (one of the computers at the office running windows2000 crashes quite often mainly because of the sound driver). The standard drivers shipped with XP are quite bad, also sometimes new drivers have problems (e.g. the Nvidia drivers having bugs in the anit-aliasing code).

AA isn't even good for games like Graal, is it? x.x

Vincent, is it an actual blue screen? I have only had XP crash twice. Once I accidentally shut down a process that was needed for XP to run, and the other time I was trying to debug Tribes 2. Both of the times, a little warning came up and told me to save all of my open work because the computer was going to restart in 60 seconds. I have yet to see an actual BSoD for XP. ;D

No, however, the 3D terrain could benefit from it. (Which is why the bug probably doesn't effect Kingdoms ).

I lag more on my brand new computer with Windows XP, same exact internet, 512 mb of DDR Ram, Update GFX Card with Drivers and everything and I lag so bad it isn't funny.. I could play on my old comp with a built in GFX processor, 128 mb ram, with Windows ME and I would lag at all.. There is something that is messing with XP comps. When I open Graal it takes 15-20 secs to open it when it was on my ME comp it took 1-2 secs.
