A great way is to find a player whose lvl 107 mental, and buy scrolls of destruction off of them. Use those scrolls in the west haunted house to collect rubies, sapphires, diamonds, brutal maps and all that. Every once in awhile pick up all the baddie body parts, use the woodsman skill to identify them for more money, and sell them back to a merchant for a nice hunk of change. When you save enough platinum coins, you can then play the risky game of "IWD & EA" spawning, and if you're truly brave "RoW" spawning.

Make sure you buy a scroll of shopping off of someone so you get top dollar for your body parts . GL!

Just play events, 1 event coin equals a minimum of 100 diamonds.

Full Helmet of Might; Havoks; Dust of Piercing Vision
Make 'em sell em or trade em for stuff you want
Take the Plats from DoPV start buying rings; sell / trade rings for stuff you want

Play events; Win EC/Dias Trade em for stuff you want
