Png2nw revival

So I decided I want to make a better working-- faster version of this:

Anyone have any suggestions for what they'd want a tool like this to do?

Also, what would you use it to do?

Perhaps the ability to specify a group of tiles by using a selection border, and then convert those tiles to a level instead of just being given the option to convert the whole image.

I hope this explains it:
  1. Open the PNG2NW client, select a level to convert and it opens it.
  2. Select a part of the level to convert, and click a button or something
  3. The client then creates a blank level, but places the selected tiles onto the blank level.

Math wise, the way it works now is about 2000 times faster than before-- as soon as I finish it.

I'm glad you're still working on this. I thought it was dead since you took such a long time to reply. Good luck.

Send a message via MSN to WanDaMan
I'd play with it, I don't have anything to contribute though.
