Vector based collisions would be a relatively straight forward task but it would probably require either a whole new movement section dedicated to the new system or the current system to be altered drastically which would leave a lot of scripts redundant.

Maybe there could be a plugin system for Graal v4 so that programmers could interface their own code in and upload it to their server where the functionality would be attached. Maybe even a "#include" style directive in scripts to include the plugin?

Not feasible as most will not give a flying **** about Linux/Mac users.

Erk.
I'm trying to do just this right now in graalscript and it's not going well.
A hardcoded system for this, such as with the particle system, would be -very- handy, as with a little addition to shoot() - a flag that determines if the projectile bounces off objects (walls, npcs, ground, or any combination)
