I was "working" for the real Graal 3d project, and I didn't care for it. It to me, did not have the Graal feeling. It looked bad and it was running extreamly slow.
That is why I started this little project. Fewer polygons and alot smaller textures, but still had the feeling of playing graal, just in 3d.

Btw, here is a small level I made, it's poor in detail so far, but now that the outer and inner corners and the main wall is made, I can use it as level-makers use tiles to make whatever kind of rooms I want.

If you're using this style, it would make a lot of sense to design the levels in 2D first as a guideline before making 3D levels. Fluent LATs could quickly teach you a thing or two that way, anyhow.

like u guys are trying too make something but honestly i weather just play graal 3d
they have alot better graphics compares to u guys which graal 3d they had pretty crappy graphics idk i might make some gk style 3d graphics building and run it on torque 3d just to show u guys what i mean

I think this is a nice style that lends to Graal nicely. I'd play the hell out of Graal3d if it looked like this:

i did this in 15 mins i didnt color it all
thought just little parts add little detail ect
but remember this is a fish monster that was model and paint in 15 mins
but hey here it is

It's not that my skills are limited or that I don't like the look of the pics you have all posted, it's just that I am going for a Graal "Classic" look, not a fancy new Graal 3d.

Rave J: That fish monster is sculpted and got loads of polygons, and wouldn't be any good for a game, unless you use it as a base for normalmap-baking. Did you use Zbrush? Mudbox?
