I asked about this a few years ago, actually, and the response I got from Stefan was basically it isn't a feature because of cross server trading/USDing. It brought issues with scamming and players just buying items from other servers with USD (in the form of gelats).

That's basically what Gelats are. They are meant for microtransactions, and can actually be good for Graal as a whole.
Also, it's easy enough to write up a rule or disclaimer stating that if you engage in cross-server trading, nobody will reimburse you for taking that risk.
Yeah, we were having multiple issues with players being scammed and complaining about getting their gelats stolen when trying to make a trade. Basically players trying to trade gold for in-game items and it resulted in a bunch of complaints.
I was told anything involving gelat trading was illegal and I was supposed to punish the players accordingly, which I didn't mind especially if it stopped the complaining. Was all at their risk.
