A Simple Suggestion- Banks On Main

Im sure many people have thought this.
"Man, I cant believe ill have to go all the way back to <Kingdom Island> to put this away".

A simple suggestion containing a simple solution-

Banks on main.
Simply put, you go to the bank in bomboria and store your stuff in a non-visible storage place. There wouldnt be many slots in the bank, but it would serve an important purpose- Ease of getting what you need when you need it without having to make the long trip to your kingdom island.

Anyway, just a suggestion.

I dont like this idea, people will not use the house system anymore and i like the house system.

I like the house system too, but its just such a pain to constantly go back and forth between CP and Main to get and drop off stuff... especially if i forget something.
Just make it so we can put SOME stuff in the bank

Maybe something limited like 4 item slots, and 5000 platinum?

Well I'm sorry but with the PKing going on, soon as you die you drop plat. Without money, when you die you drop items at random. This has to be fixed first before you can go make banks.

I like this idea, it'd sure be reassuring to put something in a bank and know it won't be destroyed along with my house ^_^ ReBorn, I think that the bank would be mainly for putting items in instead of Platinum, plat doesnt weigh much does it now?

I'm not sure what you mean by fixed, seems to me that what you described is working as intended. Would you rather it went back to experience and stat loss upon death?

And I'm not sure we need a fee to use the bank if the space is going to be so very limited. It should be like leaving a bury bag somewhere on Main, except with the knowledge that someone isn't going to dig it up and steal everything that you've left there.

Untrue due to the mentioned limited slot.

I say just enough slots for basic items, such as tools.

Yeah that would be nice, but as cyan said this would stop people using the house system, I suggested this on kingdoms debug a while ago but people didnt seem to like the idea

This would be good yes, but only if it was made so you could only have 1 slot if you know what I mean. So for example someone couldnt just come along and use up all the slots, you could only use one per account sort of thing. Other than that I think this would be good, but as someone else said make a weight restriction or a total number of items allowed

one slot wouldn't be good for anything. you could make it at least 3-5 slots. people would still use there houses for storing main items. If I had a bank i would keep my tools in it. I wouldn't stop using my house for 5 slots.

But most people will not use it since they have high strength and speed and dont really care about going back to there kingdoms island.

how is it defeating the purpose of houses? it's not like you can throw a party in the bank, or store all your best items in it. it will just be for common stuff you need on main island. It would be nice to be able to go to the mines and get what you need without having to run back and forth from your house.

If you limit the number of slots you have in the bank. then how could this defeat the purpose of a house. I think people have more than five items to store. Yes it would cut down how often you would go to your house... but eventually you'll have to go back to your house.

It would be used more for the current project your on more than storage i assume. this would come in handy for mining, alchemy, maps... pretty much everything done on here.
