Polygon Textures

It would be cool to have polygons be able to load textures of an image.

I can list a lot of things it can be used for, but I'm sure a lot of people could.

Would be neat to have it added.

Would be cool for special effects... Spells and stuff. What other uses were you thinking of?

Could be used for sword trails, 3d-effects and things like that. Will try to add that soon.

Well.

I was viewing other games that people have mentioned that are good.

I saw one named Soldat, which seemed like textures in polygons could make some interesting things. I would link, but against the rules.

Ahh, Soldat is a fun game. It's been a long time since I've played it though, so I can't really recall exactly what you're talking about.

Google.

Though, besides that, it would be interesting to have this feature, just because there is a lot to do with it.

An improvement to the feature before it's even added - setting an image PART to a texture. Then one could have a polygon of a more-or-less-circular window and as the player moves through the room, the scene changes. Paralax yo.

Soldat uses polygon shapes in the levels which you can apply textures to, they tile to fill the entire polygon AFAIR.
