Bots in game world?

I see some "people" on Billiard with generic names like "Bob", "Lisa", etc. Have bots been placed here or something? I -know- they aren't human by the way they play. For example, the moment it is their turn they instantly hit the ball and play with a high level of skill.

Oh, squiggly line, it's alright, you are forgiven.

There are some bots which play most games yes We plan to improve them though, like increase their skill with the time or have bots of different skill. Right now they all play with the lowest possible strength in BomberMad and Billiard. In Belote, Tarot and Poker they are not bad though. In Chess and Checkers they are like unbeatable.

They always are. It seems it's harder for developers to make unintelligent chess players rather than godlike ones

It is actually possible to make them less strong, need to find a good balance. If you make them too weak then they will just look dumb or make really stupid errors.

Ah. I didn't realize they were bots until I played one and was like WTF WHY IS SHE SO GOOD.

Maybe give them (Bot) tags? :P

Not bot-tags, more thinking of making them more human-like We have made the invitation-answer using a delay of a random value of seconds so it's not looking like it's some instant-accepting bot hehe
