Censorship

It's always been a big "haha gonna get closed" joke when somebody objects to a staff-member, or even a moderators actions, due to the fact that it would so imediately be closed regardless the situation that it's in, giving some cliche reason like "PM Stefan", and we all know how great that works.

My question is, why can't we make threads complaining about a moderator and staff-member of a server? If the thread is constructed to point out the faults in the person(s) actions/behavior, rather then just vehemently flame them, why should the thread be imediately closed without a rational explanation? Other then it being part of "the rules", I doubt many of these threads could be given rational reasons for being closed.

So other then the difficulty controlling flaming within some of the threads, what reasons are there to censor our ability to publicly discuss, or even mention incompetence or misdoings of a staff member?

ps: keep it clean guys, i'd actually like to get somewhere with this

Because there is no way the thread will just stay helpful with just pointing out something valid that that person has done wrong.

It is pretty much inevitable that it will turn into a bunch of players just flaming said person.

I would like to warn you all that if you agree with anything here you will be hated by many lol. But anyway, alot of times people end up flaming the person, and comming up with all their past faults. Best just to point out things and not mention names, after alll, how many times do you start treads complaining about a random player? But still, i think you should be able to say what you want, and if its bad about the person, they should fix it, or explain it...then close it aprox. time to this thread being closed: lol JK

Reflects the forums as poor conversational place for potential customers, in my eyes.

Besides, if you have a problem with a staff member take it to their superior, no need to be a lowly tattle-tail.

Too many threads are lies, and started to get back at people.
Support tickets work quite well I think, if the complaints are legit

If someone starts a thread about staff or a mod that is untrue (mostly pw staff), then it tarnishes their name for nothing.
Too easy to edit history, too easy to edit screenshots, so those aren't really reliable proof...
Not to mention what someone else already said about flaming, because it ALWAYS turns into a flaming war, and often times in stretches on to bashing the PW, other staff, and players...more trouble then it is worth, and it can all be based on lies from angry people for whatever reason or a rumor.

They delete threads and brandish bans because they don't want you revealing the staff's true ignorance and/or corrupt minds to the common public. You couldn't figure this out...?

What else do you want her to say? She already made clear her POV when talking about why the forums aren't a good place for complaints about staff/mods/etc.

It's redundant to post the same thing multiple times.
