Sinking Items

Simple request but could you update dropped items so they sink when over water? It's annoying to have your ship stop from full speed when there is just a few plats in the water.

Could have it so they float for a few seconds, releasing bubble particles and just reduce alpha and zoom until they 'sink'.

The boat should keep going and the object should be smashed to tiny pieces . Not everything should sink though. Example: water based barrels of explosives should float (Water mines anyone?).

Well it is a big deal when they literally litter the sea, and in some parts, completely restrict movement.

I'd love this to be implimented, and while we are on the subject of ships, could there please be a way to fasten/seucre a ship so that it remain on the shores of the island you intend it to be on? I have a major problem with people constantly taking my ships which i use to unstick in. Perhaps there should be advanced ship-building areas near each kingdom's main shipyard so that faster, more secure and generally tougher ships can be made for war, and those who simply want to cruise, the many normal shipcrafting area's are in good supply.

Not if there's a row of rice. Or invisible candy crosses.

I see your point, It gets on my nerves when people steal my unstick boats too, and as far as making stronger ships goes. That won't happen either. Boat battle are supposed to be about skill (And who lags the least) not who has the best boat.

The invisble candy is tricky. But making items sink over time won't stop people's boats crashing to stuff in the water. When In a battle there will still be some people out there cast create food to block ships. Which can be seen as a stroke of strategy I think it's stupid. In real life people won't through bread in the ocean to stop people, then again it wouldn't float either.

The better boats would be mainly for war purposes. Obviously requiring alot more materials which then makes it part of the preparations for war. Yes, random boat battles may be made unfair because one person has bothered to build a kingdom battleship of their own, but thats kind of how it was in those days, the better equiped one is, the better chance they have in a battle. Which is pretty much how it's always been like.

Then we should not stop at simply making items sink over time. Boats should not be stopped by any object or mob for that matter.

How would it be better though? More cannons? Harder to blow up? Either way I won't make a difference. Many of CP and other experianced people use a boat by themselves so having more cannons would be useless. And in the case of being tougher to blow up won't make much a difference anyway. It will still ammount to skill because people can sink boats being barely touched.
