Heavy Lag

This morning at about 6 AM GMT+1, several servers were experiencing massive lag, most particularly on serverside. Among those servers were AEON, Project Mythic, Atexia and Dev Nocturax - possibly many more.

Was this just something temporary, or should we expect it to happen again today?

From what I've heard, the server that hosts the Hosted and (half of) the UC servers is experiencing technical difficulties.

Stefan is currently working to fix it.

There was a problem again yesterday, one server was lagging the others because a script used massive amounts of memory. We've fixed the script together with the staff and will also try to add some protection against it in the next npcserver version (not very simple though).

Could you not do something like

if ( CPUUSAGE > x )
{
killIt();
}

Massive lag again today, a lot of people are getting D/C and such on Zone, don't know if it is affecting other servers.
