lieing about player numbers

I was coming to the forums a little bit ago and went through the main Graal website. To my amazement I saw a whopping 1626 players online. I thought to myself "wow I was wrong Stefan and Unix actually knew what was best for the game all along." I reinstalled the game and launched the client to play around on Graal, after all if 1626 people were playing something new must have happened. When the client loaded and displayed the servers and number of people online I saw 148 players all together. I find it hard to believe 1478 players are on unlisted servers, so whats up with the obvious lie about subscriber numbers?

The counter includes the iphone users, which server's player count is usually around 900+. That's the reason for the high player count on that counter.

In short, iPhone additional boost to count is betraying and unix and stefan still don't know whats best (Neither do I but at least I can sit back as a player and laugh at them still fail)

You could also say making a free game was what was best all along lol. Well, free with a very cheap upgrade for the rest.

We had that super high number listed before the iPhone version was out iirc.

Skills games and such were hosted on the same servers and counted towards the playercount.
